Jensen Huang says chip design now depends on AI

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has said the company can no longer design chips without AI. He said AI systems explore broad design spaces, including options teams might not examine manually.

Huang says AI can help improve chip performance and reduce energy use. He also says it is used for software writing, finding bugs and diagnosing problems.
