Adecco rolls out Agentforce Coworker to 27,000 staff across 40-plus countries
Following pilots in the UK and France, Adecco Group is bringing Salesforce’s enterprise AI assistant into the workflows of 27,000 employees, although the rollout timeline and some performance evidence remain incomplete.
Adecco Group says it is rolling out Salesforce’s Agentforce Coworker to 27,000 employees in more than 40 countries after pilots in the UK and France. Built into Salesforce and powered by Anthropic’s Claude, the enterprise assistant is intended to support sales and recruitment work.
According to Adecco, the tool provides one access point to data, systems, and organisational knowledge previously distributed across dozens of applications. Sales and recruitment teams can use it to identify priority prospects, prepare sales briefs, enrich prospect records, check lead status across teams, and launch pre-screening, recruiter, or onboarding agents.
Operational context and human judgement
Adecco says the system will draw on context from more than 2.5 million agent-candidate interactions recorded since April 2025. Group CEO Denis Machuel described the goal as putting candidate history and client context in front of staff where human judgement matters. He cited rapid adoption during the pilot, but the September announcement did not provide detailed usage or productivity results for the UK and France trials.
The deployment builds on a multi-year agreement that Adecco and Salesforce signed in March and that runs through 2027. It provides global access to Agentforce 360, although the described “unlimited” access remains subject to the terms of the companies’ enterprise licence. Adecco previously set a target for more than half of Adecco business revenue to be supported by agentic AI by the end of 2026.
What the reported figures show
The group says agentic AI is already deployed in recruitment workflows across ten countries that, by its account, represent 50% of Adecco business revenue. In March, it also reported roughly 15% time savings in parts of its UK recruitment process, alongside shorter time-to-fill, higher fill rates, and lower cost-to-serve. The newer account does not make clear whether the revenue figure refers to the entire group or only the Adecco business unit, and separate statements have used the figure of 27,000 for recruiters in one case and employees in another.
At Dreamforce 2026, Machuel said recruiters had saved 35% to 40% of their time through agentic AI and that the company had placed 20,000 more people so far this year. These are company-provided figures and have not been independently verified. A reported 2.6 million agent interactions this year also covers a different period from the “more than 2.5 million since April 2025” figure, and neither account explains how interactions are counted.
Ada voice agent and next steps
Adecco also demonstrated Ada, a recruiting voice agent built with Agentforce Voice. In the example, a candidate learned why an application had been paused, supplied a new certification number, had it verified, and saw the application updated during the call. Machuel said the company’s approach is to deploy AI alongside its people rather than impose it on them.
No timetable has been published for completing the rollout across more than 40 countries. Adecco’s earlier plan called for more agents in the UK, expansion in France and other key markets, and extended capabilities at hubs in India, Poland, Mexico, and Morocco. The project’s scale is clear, but a firm assessment of its impact will require more independent evidence on usage, quality, and productivity.
